CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) was the first Christian television station in the United States.  It began broadcasting on October 1, 1961.  Now,more than fifty years later, it is the largest television ministry in the world.  It was founded by televangelist Dr. M.G. (Pat) Robertson, and its headquarters and main studio are in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
